Same lake ...

... different sunset. This lake appeared in yesterday's blip but today's photograph is taken from the eastern edge looking towards the west. During the Second World War a Canadian armoured division was based here. The remains of their huts and workshops are dotted throughout the woods. I stood on the concrete slipway (just visible in yesterday's blip) which runs down into the lake which they used for washing the tanks.
