All dressed up....

Just hoping our local restaurants will be able to open before Christmas, that is if we go down into tier 2.

Feeling a bit fed up today. Usually very positive. Even Mr C asked what was wrong.
Just think the dismal weather isn’t helping, and usually at this time of year I am planning for our family Pre Christmas party.
So decided to get into the kitchen and do some baking.
Then started preparing our evening meal.
An Alsatian Gallette de Pommes de Terre.......potato slices baked with bacon, onions and thyme.
A nice accompaniment to rump steak.
To follow a Christmas crumble......Apple, cranberries and mincemeat, topped with a cinnamon crumble.
I have just opened bottle of Cote de Rhone red wine too.
