Squirrel Blip Friday ...

... King of the tree!

Sadly a few weeks ago (during a very windy day) we lost the top of our birch tree out front.  It's been diseased for a couple of years now but we refuse to cut it down as the squirrels and birds love it!  As do we.

But it's slowly breaking off bit by bit.  I'm afraid that soon we will only have the trunk left.  But until that time we will let it be. 

We had saved one of the larger branches that broke off a few weeks ago and brought it to the back yard.  So now the squirrels in the back can enjoy it! Especially when I put peanuts at the top!
