2176. Facebook Messenger Video...

.....to do the tree decoration!
I guess this is the new normal for many families across the country and indeed the world doing the sort of thing that would have been face to face before the pandemic...
Today should have been our annual tree decorating day when the grandkids come over to do our tree and the adults have a few drinks and nibbles and the kids get their Christmas chocolates....so it was done via Facebook Messenger with our youngest grandson but we had to do it with only a few baubles left as he’d never had concentrated for them all!

It seems strange doing this like this but better this way than not at all.

One of my spinning plates has had a bit of a crash and burn incident but hopefully things will not get any worse...as the first anniversary of their loss looms near things have been really hard....for us all....it’s not always the best time of year for many....

We had some amazing news yesterday as our dearest friends who had been through a nightmare of trying to sell and buy a house in the middle of the pandemic, with a terminal illness to cope with as well....have finally moved into their new home and it has really lifted everyone’s spirits immensely....

I guess that re-affirms the feeling that there is always something to be thankful for in the midst of all of this confusion and sadness....
