Grandma’s angels

When I was a kid, Christmas eve always was a big happening. All family of my dad went to my grandparents house. 8 Brothers and sisters (my uncles and aunts), their partners, lots of grandchildren (32), some already with partners, in that tiny house, sitting on the floor and wherever was place to sit...Those angels were a gift to all daughters and daughters in law from my grandparents, every year a new angel, eight years in a row. After eight years of angels my grandpa died, and the Christmas present where replaced with another great memory. No more present buying for my grandmother, but a weekend away every september with everyone. Organized by another committee every year. The angels stood on the shelf for years at my parents house, but my mom thought it was time they have their home with us...Stil a great reminder of those special Christmas evenings with my grandparents!
