Broken Promises

The sky was cloudless first thing (and I mean first thing, up at 6:30, out of the house, chivvying the children ahead of me at 7:20, blip taken 8am ish) but by lunchtime as I type this the sky is grey and it's snowing, again and with temps below zero and the snowflakes ganging together even before they hit the ground, it doesn't bode well.

I am so done with winter and this freezing weather that necessitates winter (i.e. nonslip) boots and multiple layers of clothing, I am longing for spring but it has to come with sun and preferably not too much of the wet stuff...
