The Chinese Roundabout...

I met my (late) friend Kathy’s daughter for lunch today then walked home at dusk in the light between rain showers. The sky was beautiful and this well known landmark created a wonderful silhouette. I took my running route and my word there are some amazing decorations in the houses and gardens to enjoy! Best seen at night.

It was V’s birthday today. We had a Sisters’ Zoom call and it was great to see her. She banned all talk of her health and was her usual humorous self. This evening her family were going round to their garden with a fire pit for toasting marshmallows, and for keeping warm!
