Ivy Berries

I waited in for a couple of deliveries this morning, which arrived as promised. I spent the time up in the loft ejecting and flattening dozens of cardboard boxes, mostly from appliances that we no longer have. There is now a mountain of cardboard and polystyrene in my car waiting to go to the tip (I have a slot booked for Monday morning).

Went for my walk in the gloom this afternoon...it was raining. I stopped to photograph these ivy berries, illuminated by my little LED lamp. They looked nice and plump and were glistening in the wet.

Made a batch of mince pies when I got in...using up a block of pastry that I bought last week!
