Little Green Apples

Continuing my Beatles theme from the last few days I thought I would combine my apple exercise squeeze ball with my daily album.

My album of the day is "Past Masters" by The Beatles. A collection of Beatles singles, B-sides, rarities and EP tracks not usually included on the original albums. In the 60s it was customary to release standalone singles, it was not the done thing to issue songs available elsewhere. The policy also extended to not issuing songs as singles once they had already appeared on albums, favourite track "Revolution" B-side of "Hey Jude", my very first record purchase. "Help" and "A Hard Day's Night" were either issued on the same day or before the album they also featured on.
