Hornet or Horse Stinger

This nasty looking insect came inside at my cousins place today while we were there. So once again the blip came to us and we didn't have to go looking! Very obliging!

However, look at the sting on that thing - I was so scared it would fly onto me and scratch my good glass.

The hornet was on the window, hence no shadow. The Mistress made it more high key just for fun she said. She wanted to put a shadow on it but didn't know how, but decided not to go looking how so she could get the blip up.

As soon as the photo was taken, along came someone with a book and squashed it to kill it. Poor book. Poor Glass. Poor Hornet. Apparently the only good hornet round here is a dead one.
