Clay Play!

One day recently I felt a bit low and visited a local Potters Workshop open day.   I sat with a few others and someone put a lump of clay in my hands.
Suddenly my mood lifted and the joy of 3D possibilities took over! It has been over 20 years since I did any hand building with clay.  Immediately I ordered some clay for therapeutic  reasons and have begun to play with it.
It really doesn't matter how it turns out - it's like tapping into your inner child - I can really recommend it.   Now I have the wonderful choice of creating something with paint, fibre or clay - how lucky is that?!
I've even relocated a friend who still fires earthenware occasionally so if anything is worthy of firing she may be able to do it for me.
