THE WORLD HAS ALWAYS...

...been in need of wisdom - perhaps never so much as now when folly, fake news, FaceBook & Twitter are taking its place.

Sometimes I get to thinking that being eighty years old with all its aches & pains is a kind of "Get out of jail free" card in that I won't have to witness too much more of this rampant idiocy that so wearies me.

And then I think, "Get a grip you old fart - the young are bright enough to turn this around?"
