Dreary

Finally, we have caught up at work and I am not working tomorrow! It is a lovely feeling to know we have got through the important Christmas period, through a local lockdown, moving into original tier 3, not moving into original tier 3 because there was national lockdown 2, and then being released from that into new tier 3. Very limited extra casual staff, because we had to maintain social distancing and the new normal of temperature checking, not allowing anyone other than staff in the building and regular disinfecting.

After all that it would have been lovely to go and have a pint of old Peculier in the Malt, by the roaring log fire and have a chat with other locals, but no we’ve walked round the village getting very wet looking at some of the advent windows.
