Six years

With the best of intentions today we set off in the car to do one of our favourite walks on the island. However, when we drove higher and higher over the mountains the weather became progressively worse with very low cloud, little visibility and rain. We have seen the rescue helicopter go past our apartment too many times in the last few weeks, the most recent being yesterday and we know the mountains need our respect. So no walk today, just a three hour circular drive. You can see the low cloud in the extra. This shot was taken in the north of the island in a ribbon town called Hermigua. I started blipping 6 years and 9 months ago so unlike most of you I have several gaps. Thanks to all of you that call in and comment and thanks to the team who keep this site running.
