Two years ago today, 115 people lost their lives on this site, in the collapse the Canterbury Television building, remembered with floral tributes.

Looking forward
Across the road is the 700-seat Cathedral, being constructed with six-metre cardboard tubes. Though seen as transitional, it can have a life span of over 50 years. It is part of the innovation that is the new Christchurch.
