Cake number 1

I usually make a boiled fruitcake for each family for Christmas. I put a cup of mashed pumpkin in each and use apricot juice. The cakes are usually moist and all gone in no time.

I did an annual letter to include in my Christmas cards and addressed 20 ready to post. So I’ve made a good start. Lots of birthdays start tomorrow .....8 in about 6 days.

No more community Covid cases for a few weeks here in Australia. We are still getting some cases in Quarantine from returning residents so still need to maintain protection in crowds. NSW residents are now able to travel anywhere within the country.
