A Break In The Cloud

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellows,

Rainvember continues. I woke up this morning to torrential rain. At work, I've been hearing stories of flooded garages and destroyed gardens.

A bright spot in all this is how happy Caro and Feefs are. They just love being around each other. Yesterday evening they watched "Naked Attraction" together and amused each other by making comments like, "What the EFF is that?" and "It looks like it's fallen OUT."

After I got home from work, we went out for take away Thai food. It turned into a whole family outing when Caro decided to come too. The Thai place was right by the beach, and it looked like the clouds were re-gathering for another assault on the Kapiti coast. 

But for that 30 minutes, the sun was (partially) out and we got to have a walk along the shore. It was a nice way to end the day, and a welcome break in the wet.
