Large visitor at the bird feeder!

We were sitting having our breakfast, when this extra large and unexpected visitor arrived at the bird feeders! I believe I’m correct in saying it is a Cooper’s hawk. We quite often see one sitting on the fence post at the bottom of the garden, or in the trees, but I’ve never seen one come so close to the house, and actually land on the roof of the feeder before! The photo was taken through the window, and I wasn’t even that close to the window, as I knew he’d see me and fly away, so given the circumstances, I was pleased how the shot came out!
As it turned out, I was busy at home all day, and didn’t go out, so I was very glad for our morning visitor providing me with a blip!
