Mercy Primary School
Today's picture is from Wexford in the sunny south east of Ireland, where we visited the girls in the Mercy Primary School on St Johns Road.
We were welcomed by the secretary, Mr Gateley, the Principal, and Miss McHugh, a long term family friend who invited us. The girls from second to sixth class were a delight to meet. They were interested, enthusiastic and inquisitive and so bright. They sat on the floor and made us feel at home (Malawi style).
The warmth of the welcome from everyone made the 200 mile +, trip very much worth while.
This picture is of the second group of girls
Of course Malawi still goes on with Mary Mwanza taking out the ready to go compost
