Waiting

Two Amaryllis today ..... making up for missing one day yesterday.    Cold and grey weather, uninspiring.   Yesterday was a quiet one but today Jamie and I went on a big adventure.   Well, in these strange times it was a long trip, up to the North Coast of Wales for a Wheelchair clinic appointment.   On a sunny day it would have been a lovely drive but today it was just long.  Two hours each way, the return mostly in the dark.   In Norwich the clinic was two miles away .... not eighty!    The appointment was good.   Two lovely ladies doing the assessment for a hew chair, one of whom shared memories of living in Norwich.

Tired tonight.  Not used to the action!

Waiting for the amaryllis to send up flower buds.   Not long dormant, it might be a while yet.   These grew so well over the summer that they almost split their pots.  Now in larger accommodation I am hoping that in a year or two the offsets will get big enough to flower too.
