Dozing

Jane popped in rather early this morning and we went to her house for a while. She’s getting in the mood for moving, with various things sorted ready for disposal.
Why do we accumulate so many things? Looking around the room here I can see some rather weird objects, given to me by family for joke presents, including a two foot metal flamingo and a wooden dolphin!
Also a rather large ornamental fig given to me by Sheila, that is doing rather well and outgrowing its corner! There’s a large bucket of dog toys and rather a lot of knitting wool too.
Must be one of the nice things about moving house, getting rid of some of it? I don’t know, we have been here for 28 years now so we are probably doomed to live with it all forever!
