Holiday photos

I had a slight problem to sort out at 3am, and didn’t actually sleep much after that...

We all took a wander across the Meadows a) to have a coffee, b) to post a couple of things, c) to give Archie a walk, but mainly, d) to return a battery candle that was bought yesterday, and was not working. 

A reasonable round trip (7,350 steps) with a run around for Archie on the Links. Embarrassingly enough, the battery powered candle was NOT broken - JR had put one of the three batteries in wrongly. And I had checked it! Duh!

We had an exciting appointment in the afternoon - Nicky was going to share her Antarctic photos on Zoom! She’d already done it for her Camera Club, and I had mentioned that I’d’ve liked to have been there. We were very impressed - both with Nicky’s Zooming skills and her photos. Archie dozed through the whole lot, but Xena joined us at the end, in a bit of a blur, as she couldn’t figure out who was calling her name.

Started watching ‘Ratched’ on Netflix last night - we lasted about five minutes before someone got their head bashed in on a toilet bowl and it was swiftly switched OFF. Think I’ll stick to TikTok of an evening...
