Museums Alive

I am currently volunteering with Edinburgh Museums on a project entitled Museums Alive, which involves us visiting care homes around Edinburgh and sharing objects from museum collections with the residents. This week, we were focusing on fashion and hairstyles, so the collections contained lots of hats, gloves, bags, hair products etc. - these were a particular hit with the ladies, as they had great fun trying on the various hats!
