The Many Colours of Heat
The last couple of days have been focussed on rebuilding out stock of firewood - generally moving stuff around the system, from 'wet' piles to under cover as we do still have a decade's supply in multiple piles around the garden. Cutting stock to woodburner length and splitting where necessary.
Sometimes some glorious colours come to light - a mix here of redwood, yew and laburnum.
(Any nice, unsplit, bits of interesting woods go across the road to the hobbyist woodturner - dropped off some walnut this afternoon).
