Invicta

You probably know that the white horse of Kent is called Invicta which means "undefeated" or "unconquered". That's what I thought when I saw this anemone flower; it's well after the time that it should have disappeared but it's still hanging on.

I was planning to go out and get away from the screens for a while but that didn't happen - tomorrow looks unlikely too.
