Eyecatching

Not in a good way.

It's nearly a year since the terrible fires.
While much growth has occurred, I've noticed that there are many sections of bushland that are recovering very slowly.
This is a section of the Grose Valley from the Govetts Leap lookout.

I wonder if loss of habitat is the reason three snakes have been spotted in the yard in the last week.
I'm very reluctant to work in the garden in the middle of the day.
Most of us realise we are living with snakes and funnel webs, and take sensible precautions to avoid being bitten, and while I know they're 
around, I'd prefer not to see them.
