CAMELLIA sasanqua

A great secret about CAMELLIAS is that
the flowers will float in water, & make a great centerpiece. They bloom here & in the southern US in the Winter. There is something magical about them.

This is the last of the flowers on my bush; & I was afraid the monstrous winds would blow it away. So, I cut & put it this bowl of water.

My plan was to find a TINY Christmas decoration during my walk with Angus.
I found a few, but “the best laid plans of mice & men often go awry.” This time, awry
In the best possible way.

PS: It is still very windy but no more news
(is good news) about the wildfire West of us.
