Make time

.......in a busy day, to stop and smell the coffee.

Didnt sleep too badly all things considered, probably managed 6 hours in total.

Awake from 7, up just after 8, hub had an ok night he said.
Put together hubs overnight bag, but needed a quick dash to M&S to collect new pjs & some jogging bottoms, not something he would normally wear ;-). Then straight over to the hospital, was absolutely throwing it down with rain, got soaked dropping his bag in at reception, not allowed to go onto the Ward :-( Hub said it arrived quite quickly so that was good.

Back home, stopped off in town to post the last cards, pick up a few bits and pieces, treated myself to a cappuccino, in a festive cup, as you can see, took it home for with my lunch, an M&S thai green chicken curry, which I really enjoyed. Then finished wrapping the last of the xmas pressies, spoke to sis in law, youngest son, a friend, then a neighbour came and helped me get into the loft, brought down a few bits and pieces to decorate the lounge just a little to make it a bit festive.
Later psoke with middle son &'DiL, before having some tea and finally sitting down to relax for a couple of hours so I can sleep tonight hopefully!

Its been another frustrating day for hub, another 3 attempts to canulate without success.....so had not had his planned chemo.....well, that was until he messaged around 8 tonight to say they had finally managed it and he was hooked up!
Finally things are underway, got everything crossed that all goes to plan from here on in xxx
