Half a lily-pond

I underestimated my progress with this cross stitch, anticipating half would be complete by Christmas. I started it at the end of July when it became a mindful distraction (?), I sometimes multi task by watching Schitts Creek on the easy squares. At the rate of the number of indoor days I am clocking up I reckon I should finish it by Easter, latest.
I have added a trip to Giverny to my post pandemic wish list, and switched from Norwegian (prep for Lofoten Islands) to French on Duolingo. I suspect the chances of getting to Norway in July are higher than France in June, despite the optimism of feline Matt Handcock, (who is hedging his bets by booking Cornwall).
