Doug Scott 1941 - 2020

I was saddened to hear of the death of this great British mountaineer yesterday. He had been a real inspiration to me in my pretendy-toe-in-the-water adventures in the Greater Ranges.
I bought this fantastic coffee table book in the early 1990s jam packed with his exploits accompanied by some spectacular photographs. His ordeal on ‘The Ogre’ sounded like something out of a Hollywood movie.
