Heron on the Forth & Clyde Canal

After a rather wet morning, we took Chloe along the canal this afternoon. Quite a lot of bird life from chaffinch, goldfinch etc up to cormorant, swan and this hungry heron searching for its lunch.
Although the rain stopped, it has remained a rather chilly damp day.
Great news that the vaccinations have got under way. I just hope nothing goes wrong!
