Sightseeing

What a fab day. Duck tour was ace, lovely long lunch, walk down Embankment, then over to houses of parliament followed by a tour around Westminster Abbey. Verger was so helpful and I was so excited as he let us sit in the choir stalls with the tiny red lamps - I've always looked at those on telly and wanted to sit there. Eeekkk - he was happy that I was happy!! Then he took us to where the Queen sits, opened up the small door and showed us inside - kneeling stool, proper posh velvet cushion and embroidered red rose, thistle, shamrock and leek for four countries that make up GB. Beautiful Abbey. Then down to Downing street , coffee at Trafalgar Square then dinner at Carluccios. Tomorrow its a walk to Buckingham palace and the lions at Trafalgar for Eva to sit on.
