Reservoir walk

Had a walk around Cocksburn reservoir this afternoon with a very old friend. It was a glorious wintr day and we met lots of people with their dogs .

Unfortunatley we were unable to complete the circuit because the wooden bridge still has not been restored (see extra)
despite promises from the relevant authorities. Local councillors have taken the matter up too but still no action.  For most people the bridge does not present a major obstacle and they are able to step over but for those of us with artificial knees and hips it , or of more mature years, the prospect of leaping across this divide is not a challenge we want to take on.

I shall be taking it up with our local councillors again. This is a very popular walk especially during Covid.
