Long grass

I’m always fascinated by the way this grass grows. It reminds me of when we were in the Cordillera Blanca in Peru, and one day we had to climb up through similar looking grass. It was hard work, but felt exhilarating to reach the top. It was a very misty day, and our guide was lost at one point, and because she couldn’t see down to find the way, and we would have had to return down it and doubled our walk... which at altitude would have been exhausting! It was in 1985, so a long time ago. This grass however, is flat!
