Lucy Enjoying The Sun Set

Another funny day started with a very wee walk in the rising sun and finished with one in the very last few seconds of direct sunlight. L and I took the dogs for a quick stretch at Achaderry this evening.
M's Mum is away for a couple of days and we have Lucy lodging with us. She is a bonny dog but she really is a bad design in many respects and this is mostly to do with her long coat. Chasing Caley through the undergrowth for the stick she attracts twigs and bracken like the two halves of a velcro strip. As I type all this debris lies on our kitchen floor. In snow its worse; huge balls of snow accumulate along her body and face and melt all over the floor when she comes in.

Today I had my rescheduled check up thingy. With hind sight talking about it originally was perhaps poorly judged and now I feel obliged to mention the conclusion.
