Cake!

Even in these uncertain times, there was no way I was going to let Milly's birthday pass without her having a birthday cake, even if we did compromise on the (twenty-four!) candles through Covid risk avoidance. 

And, of course, we couldn't go to a pub for lunch but we did have a lovely walk - me, Milly, Izzy, and Hannah - from Castlefield to the Northern Quarter, where we managed to find some takeaway beers. It was a bit nippy for having a drink while standing outside but we made the effort!
