Goldfinches in the lavender

Went for a walk down to the local nature reserve first thing and didn't see an awful lot. But when I got back whilst drinking late morning coffee the garden was visited by a group of five gold finches, as well as the usual sparrows, robins and blue tits. They were all over  about this lavender bush presumably after the seeds.
