A gecko at the Gum Diggers Museum.

I had a full on day. I camped at Maitai Bay. Didn't sleep that well as there were wild horses running around the park and about 20 screeching seagulls that filled in for a rooster at about 5am. Luckily for them I didn't have a shotgun. Went for a walk out to a peninsula for some pics and then a quick swim.

Then I went to the Gum Diggers Museum, just north of Kaitaia. It was really interesting. Something I only had a sketchy knowledge of. It was very well run and they were so friendly and a real font of knowledge. Definitely worth a visit.
