Slip sliding away...

One minute we were eating lunch and it was a lovely bright day outside then the next time I looked at the clock five hours had passed.  Just like that!  As a funny man used to say :-))

I spent the afternoon making family Christmas cards and some birthday cards for the December birthdays and I was suddenly aware of the white cards having an orangey tinge.  I couldn't work out why till I lifted my eyes and this was the sky that greeted me outside the window.  

No time to grab my camera (it's been so long since I had the time or inclination to use the big camera that I am not even sure where it is!) so it's a phone shot again (I think Santa may be bringing me a new phone with a much better camera.  Fingers crossed I've been good enough :-))

Made a Christmas card for Alan that featured a snowman and a couple of Chookie Birdies.  He was grinning from ear to ear when he took it out of the envelope and he insisted it sat on the little table beside him so he could see it.  Made my day :-))
