Christmas list
This one is doing so well, he's so eager to do things (rubbish at playing with toys, amazing at joining in and lapping up anything new). Today it was the Christmas list, for someone who has battled with reading and writing, he did his list - and spelt 'boots' correctly without having to ask how. We spelt out the other words so that he could write them down. I'm very proud of him.
We've had a lovely day, trip to Stamford to drop presents (Granny and Grandpa were 'out' so that we could just drop the presents), then a trip to the outdoor shop for gloves and mittens - much, much needed. I paid for a parking spot after yesterday's incident, then read the instructions to find it was free parking on a Sunday.
Back home, homework with the eldest (youngest joined in), then a puppy walk, introduced the puppy to the neighbours to discover their dog has the same name as ours.
Today I'm grateful for:
A really lovely weekend with the boys, we had a great time, including dancing around the kitchen to rubbish Christmas music
The eldest writing his Christmas list - and Christmas cards (I just need to finish them and sort envelopes)
The youngest running upstairs to get favourite cuddly toys for the eldest when he was upset at dinner time - I cruelly made the eldest eat peas...
