Our Lucy is now thirteen and a half years old and by our reckoning, about 95 in human terms.
Apart from being totally deaf and needing expensive medication for her kidneys/liver, she seems to be fine.
However, if we meet people when out for a walk, they sometimes ask if she’s an old dog and I always feel rather defensive.
Fortunately, no one has pointed out the decoration that has appeared on her head!!
