Atlanta Contingent

A slow day, just what we wanted and needed. The parks have just reopened after months of being shut, the kids couldn't believe their luck when we said they could go!
Early afternoon we met up with this lovely couple, Stephen and Todd. They live in Atlanta but have been visiting the island for about 5 years and are in the process of moving here - they even own a property here. As soon as their Atlanta home is sold, they'll be living here full-time. So looking forward to the next 6 weeks with them being part of our day to day lives. Stephen (left) has a cousin who runs a charity working alongside the homeless, so he's great to chat to for ideas and inspiration. 
When sitting outside Nude Cafe got too cold, we came home for more coffee and nattering. They really are super friends...and also part of the Caña Club group!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Bumping into Chele who was running to the shop after realising he was missing something from the paella he was cooking. 
2) Todd and Stephen getting here safely...right up until the last moment it was touch and go as to whether their flights would be cancelled. 
3) Reading the Advent book as a family.
