Starlings again

The same flock of  starlings as yesterday, this time nearer to home, seen on a walk beyond the far side of the village. It was mid afternoon and they were chattering really noisily, undeterred by, or perhaps because of, the rather wild, cold weather.
The market this morning was quite sociable, and I chatted (from a distance) with most of my local acquaintances.
