A Busy Day

What a day!  This morning me & Mrs MD reached the summit of Annapurna 1 -at 8,091m (26,545ft) it's the 10th highest mountain in the world. Also the most dangerous.  Before we started the final ascent we dusted the treadmill and made sure our shorts and footwear were in good order.
On reaching the top we had a cup of tea and a toasted currant teacake by way of a reward.
We then put up our Christmas tree .... a job we can easily put off - but rewarding when done.  It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas - such as it will be.
My Blip has to be a postcard - it was a bit cold at over 8,000m for my new camera :-)
Our next mountain is THE ONE.  The big 'E' - we should be there for Christmas .....
