How many men does it take....

To resurface this road?
This is the road outside of our shop, and these men have been entertaining me for a few days now. They work from 8-30am until 3pm, with a break for lunch. There is a lot of banter, telephoning and talking to passeres by, but when the boss arrives,(it is a woman) they scatter and work gets done.
However they are doing a great job, and there won't be any more pot holes in the road.
