Freezing!

The temperature dropped below freezing last night and it was cold enough for part of the loch to freeze. Fortunately there were still some areas of water so the poor swans and the geese had areas for their ablutions and exercise.

Gulls and ducks are quite happy just standing or snoozing on the ice.

The path was fairly icy in some areas so I was happier walking on the frost covered grass .... damp feet are better than a wet bottom and a broken leg.
