Bowing out

The marigolds have flowered for months but I fear last nights frost will see them off. We have a sunny day of blue skies with a hard frost making the area look very pretty.

The birch has a beautiful purple look during the winter months, earlier I spotted a group captured in the morning sunshine all lightly covered in frost, sadly not caught on camera they looked very attractive. The everlasting cabbage makes another appearance, hope it survives the frost.
