Bringing the Sparkle into December

Hello on this grey Sunday in Switzerland! The sun keeps trying to come through, but hasn't managed so far!

I a big fan of candles and they create lovely sparkle on my gold and silver materials. This time, I've tipped over my lovely vase so that the small baubles can flow out.

I'm watching a very old recorded film called "Wrong Number" with Barbara Stanwyck and Burt Lancaster and now I'm going to watch it with a mug of my daughter's Christmas tea and a small slice of Jean's birthday cake which I froze! He went back to Evian with four whole slices so is not to be pitied at all!  He told me he misses my cooking though!
