The river was very high this afternoon but was obviously higher earlier due to the riverbank plants being flattened. The whole walk was very muddy.
We went to buy our Christmas tree earlier, not a lot to choose from but we got a lovely Nordmann Pine, grown locally in the Pentlands. We will decorate it tomorrow once it’s settled.
