Colour on the edge but what's inside...?

Such a busy day at workhouse related activities. I forgot to take my camera and missed out on lots of opportunities! A very go-ahead day with a fabulous afternoon of Early Years stimulating input from an HMIe lady who spoke of an ounce of prevention. Please watch if you have any interest in how we can effect change for our pre 5's. Get a tissue. It burns in me with a passion.

When I graduated as a teacher I knew I wanted to change the world for some children. I went to Africa for 7 years and returned having made small changes for some. Today I want to change what is on my own doorstep.

I had no outdoor blip and saw this colourful carnation in my vase - it refreshed me and reminded me of how lucky I am and how much I have to give to so many.

I so believe in early intervention work, when I watched that clip today, I wonder if do enough and effect enough change where I know I can.

Tomorrow I will talk about it with my boss and will plan to make some of those changes happen.
